The Science

Daily support for your first line of respiratory defense

  1. 01

    Your airways filter every breath

Every day, your nose and throat process thousands of litres of air. A thin, moist lining traps dust, pollution and microbes, while microscopic cilia continuously move that material out of the airways before it reaches the lungs.

  2. 02

    That defense depends on hydration

Heating, air conditioning and other dry indoor environments can dehydrate this lining, while pollution increases the load it has to capture and clear. As the surface dries, mucus becomes less mobile and mucociliary clearance slows.

  3. 03

    Halite hydrates it directly

Halite delivers a fine isotonic mist directly to the nose and throat, helping support the moisture and fluidity this natural clearance system depends on.
